Times and Tickets

Tickets can be purchased online, and can also be purchased at Lionheart Station on the day of travel, however availability cannot be guaranteed. Those holding Season Tickets must obtain tickets from the shop. Our online transactions are handled by HOPS (Heritage Operations Processing) and tickets are sent electronically via email. If you do not receive your tickets shortly after purchasing, please check your spam/junk folder.

*Children under 3 travel free. Child tickets are required for those aged 3 to 15. Those 16 years and over are classed as adults.

*Please note that children under 3 years of age do not travel or participate free of charge on any of our special pre-bookable events! On Santa Specials, children under 2 years (who do not require a gift or a visit from Santa) can travel free of charge providing they are accompanied by another fare paying child and adults! Please note that they will not be allocated a seat.

Well behaved dogs are allowed to travel with you. Only 1 dog per adult is allowed with a maximum of 10 dogs per train. We request they are on a short lead and do not sit on the seats. On certain special event days, dogs may not be permitted. On Santa Specials and Dining Trains such as Afternoon Tea on the Train they are not permitted (with the exception of assistance dogs).
